My Daddy  / Kathlene Ammoscato (Daughter)
My Dad sits in the hospital without me there.
My Dad lays dying, but always knowing I care.
My Dad has Cancer and they say I have to let go.
My Dad loves me, but I love him more than he may never know.
My Dad has been always by my side.
My Dad has been the one I go to when I need to hide.
My Dad is the best man I will ever know.
My Dad knows I will be sad when it's time for him to go.
My Dad has grandchildren that love him so.
My Dad will be remembered by my children when their grown.
My Dad is so young to leave this Earth now.
My Dad is sitting there wondering, WHY ME and How.
My Dad has always been my very best friend.
My Dad knows I will be with him until the very end.
My Dad will go to Heaven and rid all of his pain.
My Dad will have God with him to show all that is gained.
My Dad is fighting his disease and taking it day by day.
My Dad should know God will show him the way.
My Dad will not let go until his time here is done.
My Dad will have a whole new life right above the sun.
My Dad will have to say good-bye to his little girl.
My Dad will close his eyes and say good-bye to the world.
My Dad will always have a special place in my heart.
My Dad will forgive me even though we're apart.
My Dad's bedside is where I have to say good-bye.
My Dad will have to see me go and look me in the eye.
My Dad's frown will be hidden by a smile.
My Dad knows he'll never walk me down the aisle.
I love you, Dad. It's your little girl here.
I will always know that you will be near.
I'll miss you, Dad, with all of my heart.
I know the day is coming when we will have to part.
Don't worry, Dad. I will be fine and my family will be true.
I will be a better parent all because of you.

I love you, Dad and I will think of you every day.

In loving memory:
Joseph   Ammoscato Jr.

To my Daddy  / Kathlene Ammoscato (Daughter)
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.

I had so much to live for,
So much left yet to do,
It almost seemed impossible
That I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
From His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you.
Today your life on earth is past,
But here life starts anew.

I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way
There's no longing for the past.

You have been so faithful,
So trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things
You knew you shouldn't do.

But you have been forgiven
And now at last you're free.
So won't you come and take my hand
And share my life with me?"

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

Those who know Jesus,
Know peace.
When in Heaven,
The pain will cease.
Angels' embraces,
Holding on tight.
Immaculate faces,
Found in the light.
An immortal presence,
Setting souls free.
An eternal essence,
Of ecstasy.
In the night sky,
The stars always shine.
Wipe away the tears.
Everything's fine.
The power of Love,
Has lifted the spirit.
Listen with your heart,
And you shall hear it.

"My Way"  / Cousin Billy
You made us laugh, you did things as Frank Sinatra would sing so well "My Way", you would come in the door as a worldwind, we would shake our heads with a smile, laugh and sometimes, oh boy, with a frown. This was Joseph, just one of a kind, born the youngest of 4 children to Olga & Joe, ruff & tuff around the edges outside but we figured  out after awhile there was more to you inside. The illness and pain that took you away is no more. May our Loving God remember you in his Kingdom as we will always keep you in our  hearts and  at the end of the day before you rest your head on the pillow,  just pause before you  turn out the light and say a prayer for a son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and my cousin  Joseph Ammoscato. To the Ammoscato family,

I was deeply saddened to hear the news about the sudden death of Joseph Ammoscato. My thoughts are with the family during this difficult time. We are all surprised and sadden by your recent loss. Joseph was funny, thoughtful and supportive person to be around. I remember quite a few times when he would tell entertaining stories and jokes. I know you will miss him greatly. During this difficult time, I know you will draw upon your own strength and the strength of loved ones that hold you in their thoughts. You have my deepest sympathy. I will be in touch to see if you need help with the memorial service. You are surrounded by people who care deeply and are praying for you all in this difficult time of sorrow.

-Charles

To All the Ammoscato family,
I just wanted to express my deepest sympathy to all of you.   It's hard to think that all of the people that have been in my life for as long as I can remember are slowly slipping away.  As we got older we all grew apart, but we are all still family, and we feel your loss. We will keep you in our prayers.
